A form of bitumen-based sealant, blown or oxidized asphalt grades are produced by passing air through soft bitumen under controlled temperature conditions. This process gives the asphalt sealant more rubbery properties than penetration or hard grade bitumen, and they have a variety of uses in industrial applications. The rubberized bitumen allows for water resistance and added durability, providing better performance as an asphalt crack sealant.
Oxidized bitumen is a very flexible, chemically stable, and durable asphalt paving sealer that is also completely water-resistant. Additionally, this product has some very prominent technical advantages that make it a very sought-after oxidized bitumen in various applications. Hot asphalt sealers are offered in either 20kg or 25kg boxes.
